Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist
Mr. Hartt works in the communications department generating graphics, photos and video for use across all channels ensuring messaging is clear, unique and on-brand. He created the brand style guide, initiated and managed a Digital Asset Management System, revamped the company website, ensuring 508 compliance and helped initiate the company’s digital strategy. Mr. Hartt provides graphic design services for the Federal Bureau of Investigations Printing and Graphics Unit. Mr Hartt implemented and oversees a workflow management system that provides visibility and reporting of all graphic design jobs to the printing plant and upper management. He worked closely with pre-press fixing files from outside customers. Design products include, brochures, museum quality displays, logos, reports, presentations, posters, and illustration.

Mr. Hartt provides graphic design services for Federal proposal efforts which involve developing complex illustrations and memorable covers, maintaining consistent graphic standards throughout the document, managing version control through the process, and producing the final deliverable. He has a thorough understanding of government RFPs and how to read and comply with the RFP. Clients include The Tauri Group, Torres International and CACI.
Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions 4/09 – 7/10;
Mr. Hartt was the lead designer in Torres’ marketing department. Mr. Hartt ensured all design projects are delivered on target, on time, and within budget. He provided internal and external customers with the development, design, and production of reports, proposals, presentations, and various promotional materials, including brochures, fact sheets, and posters. A key responsibility involved working with the proposal team to produce graphics in support of government proposals.

As a part-time, on-call employee, Mr. Hartt provides communication design services for print projects including concept of operations (CONOPS) visuals, story boarding, proposal graphics, presentation graphics, 3D modeling and rendering, technical and conceptual illustration. Clients include the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), and University of Maryland.
Denarius Design 5/01– 4/09;
Mr. Hartt provides graphic design services for print projects. He was responsible for day-to-day operation of Denarius Design as well as all phases of project design, including concept development, client communications, print estimating and purchasing, layout, and press inspection. Some of the products and services offered include brochures, technical and conceptual illustration, corporate identity, design/branding strategies, advertising and mail campaigns, packaging design, catalog design, newsletters, poster design, promotional material web design, and large-format graphic design (trade show booths, posters, etc.). Clients include U.S. DOJ-Office of the Federal Detention Trustee, The City of Manassas, Comfort One Shoes, and Deister Electronics.
